The Divine Comedy are an orchestral pop group from Northern Ireland. They are fronted by singer Neil Hannon, who has remained their only consistent member. The group achieved their greatest commercial success in the years 1996-1999, during which they had nine singles that made the UK Top 40, including the top ten hit National Express.
