Definitely a 'locals' pub, the Tarry is harmless really. It's a no-frills experience in that you won't find much in the way of extra-curricular entertainment although there is a jukebox with a passable mix of 80's 90's and oldies music but don't expect to find anything post um.......Travis.
Staff are generally friendly and this place has many regulars.

My kinda pub, no bulls**t, good lager!
I was told by my landlady to avoid this pub.So I went in! I found absolutely nothing wrong with the bar staff or the customers, will pop in again someday, when I'm back in Inverness.
Really small, full of regulars that are friendly and good fun. Can't say anything bad bout the pints. The toilet does stink though! Good if your wanting a quick couple and a chat.
Look at the sados at the door smoking, nobody talks sense here.
Long live the Tarry! Guaranteed to leave the Tarry meetin new friends and with a smile on ur face!
I have never had a bad experience in this bar so naturally I like it. A better selection of malt would not go a miss but they are not alone on that particular crime.
Usually good for a quiet pint but can be loud when jukebox is on. pretty young barmaid.
Remember the good old days of tarryitis(getting really pissed on large quarter gils.(large 35mls for the younger viewer).still a quality "regular" local pub.
