If you've ever been into a British Legion club you know exactly what to expect here. The same half a dozen coffin-dodging regulars keeping themselves upright against the bar day in, day out. All drinking ridiculously cheap shorts and real ale. It's alright for watching football but remember you have to be signed in by a member.
This place is BIG though. It has 5 bars and a snooker room and one of the administrators for this site used to collect glasses there. Can you guess who?

This so called Royal British Legion is an absolute disgrace to the organisation that they have leeched their name from.
I was a full member for 3 years as I am actually an ex serviceman. Within that time a fellow member had 2 snooker cues stolen from his cue locker which was locked!!!!!
They have a whole load of associate members that range form some nice people to utter scumbags. The place is a total hellhole, which is really sad for the old boys that go there to socialise and talk about old times.
Needless to say I have let my membership lapse and have no intention of renewal, ever!
Having worked in the industry fo many years, and visiting the RBL, branch on huntly street in Inverness, I was shocked and disgusted to see the state of the main bar and the lounge bar, it reportedly has five bars in the establishment so I would not like to see how the other bars looked, the staff whom I dont know there names but were female quite young were more interested in chatting up the older clients from what I saw just to line their own pockets with a tip than attending to the rest of the customers, half of the clientel in my opinion should have been sent home hours ago judging by their behaviour and manorisms, I for one will never put one penny across that threshold again.
Went in to check raffle tickets for a friend, I didn't ask to get signed in as the Foyer was enough for me.
The doorman is a pompous ass, put me right off the idea of having a drink in there.
much cheapness good for an early sherbert before hitting the town proper
