Portland Club
Big bar slightly outside the town centre with pool tables and tv's and darts etc. The Portland is a big Rangers pub which means avoid if you possibly can if you want to stay away from Union flags and people talking about Gazza and Mark Hateley.
Attracts quite a few Caley Thistle fans before home games.
Also has a lot of big darts nights and private functions. I once saw Raymond Barneveld and Andy Fordham the darts players which was even impressive for someone who doesn't follow darts.

This pub is not that bad know a few folk that go and the drinks are good many anight we have ended up there
Went to this place recently for a function and I have to admit what a dump. The place seemed to be full of giro collecting half wits with nothing better to do in life thsn spend their time in this cavern. I dont know if the new owner is a right scruffy looking long haired geek, if it wasnt he certainly walked around the place as if he was god. He realy needs to think about smartening himself up and get a hair cut if it is. As for needing a miners hat this is true not because it is dark but because its a pit. God help Rangers fans if this is the best they can come up with.

Happened to be in Inverness over the weekend , got invited to a function at the Portland Club , Nice beer and very friendly atmosphere
WENT TO A PARTY IN PORTLAND NEEDED A MINERS HAT TO SEE WHERE I WAS GOING AS MOST OF THE BULBS IN CLUB WERNT WORKING.BADLY NEEDS THE SERVICES OF A TILER AS THERE IS A LOT OF TILES MISSING IN GENTS.WHOLE PLACE NEEDS DECORATING.HOPE NEW OWNERS DO IT SOON!
