I never thought I'd say this but Barbazza's is sorely missed. Especially the quiz they used to do at 6pm on a Friday. That was the perfect way to start the weekend.

Well what started off as a promising place has rapidly gone downhill despite the best efforts of friendly staff. When you go into a place during the day and you're told 95% of the draft beer or lager you ask for is off then it doesn't bode well.

A pleasant afternoon conversation with the only other customer in the bar was drowned out when what I was told was their normal DJ arrived at 3pm in the afternoon and proceeded to change the music and turn it up. We then decided we had had enough.

Open again, changed its name to Mambo and is now a Mexican bar & restaurant with an all day eat all U can eat buffet. Nice change and good food, relaxed and polite and helpful staff. Marked improvement on the last lot that's for sure. Fri an Sat nites are junping and on the Last weekend I was in, fairly mixed age group but absolutely no trouble at all. Def be back for a return visit
