MacCallum's is purely for old men and those ladies with a few teeth missing. Seems to have Karaoke on 24/7 and sells nothing but bottles of Bud and watered down vodka and coke.
The people are friendly though and if you fancy a good, cheap, sing song any time of day or night then by all means venture in.

MacCallums is under new ownership, been cleaned from top to bottom, decorated, all new friendly staff, live music every fri/sat night from early evening, worth checking out, you will be pleasently surprised, still a drinkers pub but how many pubs are empty all day every day, maccallums is trying to do somthing to entertain us.
Well, we are a couple late 40's/early50's and we found that this was a fantastic place to be. The barmaid remembered our drinks everytime we went in over the weekend and the locals, although a little rough around the edges, were wonderful. They were larger than life and very friendly. It was amazing to see this small pub packed with locals who were dancing away to the Bay City Rollers and songs from over 30 years ago. We can't wait to go there again.

yuk yuk yuk............ Filled with toothless old hags and sleazy pish smelling grandads. Although I did laugh at their "malt corner" that had a bottle of creme de menthe and a jar of pickled gherkins that looked as if they were gonna walk out the door any second now.

I went here a few weeks ago an was not very amused it was full of desperate 30 somethings trying to get someone to take them home karoke was good if it wasn't for the desperate woman as a single guy i don't like woman hitting on me
A mate told me this place was sleazy enough to warrant a quick visit, so last Saturday I headed for it thinking about a lunchtime pint.
Sure enough, the smoker's bench outside was occupied by some rough looking ladies. However the duke box was playing at an unbearable 9000 decibels so I walked on by.
However I shall return as the crowd inside looked a very entertaining bunch, in a voyeuristic kind of way !!
For some unexplained reason stumbled into this establishment for a quick refreshment while waiting for my bus. Was certainly an experience watching some rough looking 30 something sneck lasses shaking there asses on the beer mat of a dance floor!
