picked up alot in recent months, foods excellent, service is fantastic. if you have had a bad experience i recommend giving it another shot, honest!

Much much much better since new owners started, changes are always being made, food is good, entertainment at weekends is good, could do with some more staff at times though, but on the whole everything seems to be improving since this time last year

Well, meal was ok but service left a lot to be desired. Despite being promised by bar staff that someone would come and show us to a table we stood for 12 mins, even though 7 tables were free, then another 15 minutes for someone to come and take an order. The young waitress was clearly inexperienced, but perfectly polite and a bit apologetic. It would seem the hold up originated from the kitchen but doesn't bode well or give confidence for the future. Fair game though, could have been an off night so not gonna write it off on the basis of this one incident and will give it another chance (;o)

Has got even better since my last visit,the new owners have made a huge difference to the place.

They've even introduced real-ale now (Deuchars I.P.A. and a guest-ale) which are both excellent pints and very well looked after.

It just gets better and better !

Nice surprise - the food here is superb. Nice fresh ingredients, very reasonable price too.
Nice friendly management/staff, they all seem to enjoy their workplace (unusual in Inverness?). Very clean and comfortable, totally different atmosphere to previous visits (2008/9)Excellent.

The new owner seems to be making a big difference here. There is live music almost every weekend now and the atmosphere is great. The food has much improved also and apparently there is a new menu due soon. Noticed they have started doing good offers. Service is much better and the staff are quite friendly. The decor has changed and the lounge looks much brighter. Rumour has it there are more changes to come. Really enjoyed my visit here recently and will definitely make regular visits in the future to see what's going on.

I've been in the lounge-bar a couple of times recently and since the new lease-holder's have taken over it has been refurbished, the staff are much better and the foods pretty good too.
No complaints at all really !

This place has gone down hill so much since it went into 'liquidation' - pardon the pun as it was not intended!! The seats are minging, the food awful and the staff not interested unless you are a local or you are another member of staff. Avoid it unless you'd like to join their new poker nights?!

Been in Dows a few times for a meal, the staff friendly and great vaule for money. Was there last week, bit disappionted with the meal as it was luke warm, but will give it another go,

Came here on sun wi the family, good food, good atmo, nice cheery staff, recommended.

Sports bar rough round the edges but ace for watching the football. A good well run bar

food was pretty good, nice quiet place to take your granny for tea

possibly one of my favourite bars in inverness, the regulars are very friendly, foods good, although the drink is a little bit pricey!

I agree the quiz night is a really good night but I think you are wrong about the food have had some really good meals in here maybe they were just havin an off day the day you visited!! Also in the sports bar they do a good offer for meal and a pint for £5!!

The place has a good atmoshpere and the staff are really friendly have had some ace nights out and its good for watching the footy too.

The quiz is pretty good here and the staff are alright. Shame about the place and the food which is pretty bloody awful. I had a rather dodgy chicken burger here and a friend couldn't eat the curry. Stick to Scampi crisps!
