What's Inverness Like?

Inverness is a very small city with lots of pubs and a few clubs. Most of these are in the city centre, within walking distance of each other. There are a couple of slightly rough areas, but nothing too bad. Due to cheap flights to Inverness Airport from London, Belfast, Bristol and Leeds amongst others the city has become a fairly popular centre for travelling stag and hen parties. more...

I have visited this bar on a number of occassions- sometimes with friends, other times just myself and I love it! I'm always made to feel welcome and they have a good selection of drinks. Will return!

As always George runs an excellent establishment. The food is delicious and his beer and liquor selections are many.
Consistency is your Trademark George.
I would highly recomend this Pub for excellent 'nourishment'....

21 January 2012 stravaging about Thistle Inn

Went in to watch the darts the other night in the lounge bar. Never new this bar existed was pleasantly surprized. They even have Budweiser on draught and the craic was good. OK for a cheap night out.
