Belladrum (or the Tartan Heart Festival) is nothing short of brilliant. Small, friendly, loads of people out to have a great time. Without anyone giving anybody else any hassle. While many festivals tout themselves as "family friendly", Belladrum is one of the few that truly is (kids go FREE, although they do need a ticket).

It ran in 2010 on Friday 6th August and Saturday 7th August. The Friday night headliner was Feeder, while the Saturday was headlined by Amy Macdonald. Also playing were The Wailers, The Divine Comedy, Candi Staton, Wolfstone, The Levellers, Bombskare, Stornoway and many more.

It sold out for a second year running, so if you missed out this year you might want to think about getting your ticket a little earlier in 2011.

It's the Belladrum atmosphere that sells it. See you there!
