9-11 Castle Street,
Inverness,
IV2 3DX
Club on Castle Street Inverness. Plays commercial dance. Not great.
Previously G's, previously a haven for thirty plus somethings looking for the same cheesy music week in, week out. It definitely had it's fans but we weren't among them.

Come on guys, get the paint out and new carpet please. You've got a great venue but needs a damn good scrub. Bit on the young side, but not exclusive to under 20's wouldn't put you off it, make up your own mind.
Absolutely disgusting place. Bouncers who are about as much use as a chocolate ashtray. Highly recommend that you avoid this place if you want to have any kind of a fun night out!
its nick name says it all really "Love2Leave"
What a C**P night me and my mates had here. We had to wait over an hour to check our jackets in, sore feet and soberness kicked in which is never a good start to a night. I'd say avoid this place if you are over the age of 19/20 you don't watch Hollyoaks and you are not a wag wannabe. Just full of idiot BOYS & GIRLS. I think the Den must be the place to go, just wish Id known that last night.
I used to be a doorman although not on love. they dont need to give a reason to refuse entry or kick you out even if you ask for it. not trying to cause a fuss but for example I refused entry to people straight away who looked like they where on drugs without giving a reason. people who had simply had too much to drink where told they have had too much.
would agree though half the doormen there are p***ks though. I used to work for the same company hence why i left.
Have been here twice... and on both occasions have been verbaly abused by the doorstaff. My first experience here didnt last long as the bouncer didnt let me in - simply saying 'no', when I asked why not I was again disrespectfully told 'no'. I never recieved a reason for my refusal ( I suspect the doorman simply wanted to play the bigshot) instead I was repeatedly swore at by the bouncers. On my last visit I was forcebly removed as the bouncer told me I didnt pay the entry fee ( I had). After forcing them to review their cctv I was let back in but I simply gathered my friends and left.. refuse to spend another penny in the place. This venue treats its clientelle as dirt and shows a complete disregard and disrespect for Inverness.
went to love2love last night on a hen night!! geared up 4 a great night in the vip lounge only to be shot down in a pile of flames by the power thirsty door man (you know who u r). Treated really badly by him. not impressed. the decor isnt that bad but the music was just rubbish. im not surprised that its no 51 on the ratings. G's was great!! i grew up in there!! love2love has such a long way to go to be a good nightclub, getting rid of a certain couple of members of staff would be a start!!!!
Wasn't impressed. Tunes were ok but the mixing was shockingly bad (DJ didn't seem to know what pre-fade listen was for), bar staff weren't giving correct change and not displaying the final total on the till. G's had some atmosphere (albeit cheesy) but this has none, decor is all over the place with a combination of bright white padded walls from a loony asylum combined combined with tacky old style wallpaper and mirror picture frames with lighting. There seemed to be a lot of obviously underage folk in there. The upstairs loos were jammed with folk queueing for the jackets, downstairs loos are two flights down, stepping over piles of vomit in the narrow stairwell.
They have done a very good job on the refurb for this club. Keeping the scale and atmosphere of the old G's but much nicer furnishings and decor. Music is absolutely Bang on with non stop anthems all night long. Respect to DJ Si Paul. Keep up the good work.
I went to the VIP Area last night for my 21st, it was brill. Class tunes and not too pricey, defo coming back xxxxxxxxx
i thought at first it seemed a good venue but when i got to the smoking area with holes in the floor and a very dodgy staircase made me think twice, i think the bar prices are a bit too high not my scene.
to be re-named love nightclub!
and the nile is to be called studio
just boring now
The refurb is badly needed!! Looking forward to seeing what its like after
shuts down for 6 weeks at end of july for refurbishment!
getting quieter by the weekend, only just over 100 in last sat night...
its so dated. and too expensive.
possibly one of the most expensive places in inverness, saying that used to go every wknd and have a great time although its like stepping into a time warp! and it does smell quite badly
Gs is Rotten but thats luminar for you. All about the benjamins
the rumour on the street is it's due to get a massive refurb in the quarter of a million bracket.?
how do they get away with those drink prices. £6.60 for a double vod!!!
G's is the cheese myster!
the only decent time to go is on a sunday....
Hey come on there it's better than Bakoo and it has moved with the times. Hang on, reverse that, it has stayed exactly the same, playing the same music for years, so surely we need a bit of stability in life. We need to keep G's with sticky floors, ugly customers, cheesy trashy music, but without that Bakoo nastiness.
