Click to ViewAn american pool and snooker hall. Good place to go and get rid of a hangover. You need to be a member or with someone who is to gain entry. It has a video jukebox, which's great in theory, it just needs more songs.

4 pint pitchers are avaiable for most of the pints on tap at a reduced rate, which saves those peskey trips to the bar. The table play is on a by-hour basis so beware of accidentally slipping into a 5 hour beer and pool session and then realising you still have to pay for your play. Not that that's ever happened to me!

Apologies from me, you're quite correct, Rileys is not the 147.
I must have been very muddled that afternoon !!

Manboobs this is not the 147club. thats on Union Street mate. Get yer sat nav and get it right....Not a fan of Rileys as its to expensive and the mixture of pool and snooker doesn't work, although you can always get a table as its never busy

Last time I was here it was the 147 Club, and I must say that it has improved a fair bit since then.
Although most of the punters were youngish, it was a nice relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
None of that 'sod off, I was here first' attitude you get around the pool tables in some places.
Beer was very cold, just the job after hauling meself up all those stairs.
