I've returned here several times in recent months. Food prices have escalated, however the superb Taylors Landlord bitter is still available - as good a reason for stopping here as I can think of.
That tall tasty Polish waitress is still there too........

Had a really nice meal here for my 24th birthday, as i was heavily pregnant it was the perfect atmosphere to enjoy my night with family

Food excellent, staff friendly, nice surroundings....Overall v good

Had a great steak sandwich here last Saturday, washed down by a blissful couple of pints of Taylors Landlod bitter.
Deuchars IPA also on tap.
OK, so its a restaurant, but the beer is sublime.

used to be great for food but last twice was shocking think the staff went home early wasnt offered sauces or pudding table beside us was not cleared for over an hour very disapointed

Love the surroundings open fires cosy but what has happened to the food like the rest of inverness once you are new and established the food goes down hill go back for a drnk and cosyness but food no way microwave meals?

Food has gone really down hill. Pathetic menu. This place used to be so good but really disapointing now.

Ate in here a few times and can be slow when they busy but apart from that always love the quality of the food and lovely old style pub atmosphere. Bit out of the way for a beer though

Waited over an hour for a rare steak, when I eventually got it, it was medium, my one went to the table behind us. Our complimentary deserts were welded to the plate in the microwave, needed a knife to cut the custard skin.

Can't say I enjoyed my experience, the waitress service was fine, Kitchen was the problem!!!

not really a bar and the food ain't up to much either pre packaged p(one)sh in my opinion.

This is a restaurant, not a bar, but it's the nearest place to get a pint if you work in the dispiriting golden mile retail complex.
There's a few armchairs set aside for non-eaters

but the food can't be faulted. service is usually good and prices are not too bad.
