"Gunnies" has recently been given a makeover but a quick glance at their current marketing board shows pub facials are just that:"Karaoke 7 days a week"
Nothing changes.
Update - They have apparently barred a large number of the worst regulars in an attempt to clean up their image. We'll see.Leave a comment now...

AAAAAAAAAGH, Blackpool illuminations - its like going to the funfair. Can't stand the place, and some unsavoury characters drink here too boot.

Tarnished in the past with a bad reputation but this bar has come a long way in the last 2 years. Now well & truly a must visit venue on the bar circuit. Outstanding craic with Lots of quality customers and a very friendly atmosphere. Owner has a zero tolerance for troublemakers.
Great pub Good crack n the bar staff are stunningand polite. Dont understand all the nasty comments id rater stay in there all night that go to other places in inverness. I highly recommed gunsmiths to anyone. It has taken alot of hard work to make it the pub it is now from wot it was. no junkies no smelly f**kers.lol
Have stumbled into the Friday night Karaoke a couple of times recently - I don't think it's quite as bad as other contributors make out. Mind you, the quiz machine's one of those 'just play for fun' ones - don't you hate that.
Wouldnt go in the place again! Could do with a proper refurb.
utter sh(one)te!! they had a refurb, changed the sign out the front and painted the walls, WOW what a transformation, not!
Why bother to remake a pub and then keep all the scum that drink in it?
Bar the buggers and then try to salvage the rest of the pub's reputation is my opinion.
Prime location too. Such a shame.
