do folk actually drink here ?? ive only ever seen 2 or 3 folk in and even then there drinking coffee and fannying about with lap tops. (granted this is mostly daytime)

i like this place. good for a coupla quiet beers and a game of pool in the afternoon b4 hitting the centre. dont know how legal the no away supporters rule is and if they dont have colours on who is to know? would hate to think that an inverness dwelling bloke who happens to hail from aberdeen would not be allowed in on a match day when ict were playing the dons (i.e if they clocked his accent)

got to admit it gets a bit neddy at times. when like that u feel constantly on guard, so
i wouldnt make it my first place to watch a game. lot of underage looking folk as well when busy which ok they gotta learn but dont appreciate the wide attitude of a 16 yr old thinking he is `erchie` just cos he got a coupla scoops in and is surrounded by his `pack`

must admit without several shandys inside me i always feel a bit nervy in here, but ali d the owner is sound and does his best to make u welcome wi his banter. fair play.

havent been in ages, but heard the rumours re poor service. had mates go in on a sunny hot day earlier this year, tables outside were full to capacity (fair enuff) but inside literally empty apart from staff, mates stood for FIVE mins waiting to be served but despite polite throat clearing and nods and looks to the staff was ignored. they left in disgust. unbelievable. i reckon those who say the staff are great probably know them anyway and therefore get served well. not wot u know but who - mind u thats sneckie all over isnt it.

got mates who swear by this place - cant understand it. may be i will swear by it as well..... here goes... wait 4 it ..... almost there now ... FECKIN SHITEHOLE !!! ...there u go i`ve sworn by it ;-)

this place died a death after the manageress anne left some years ago. the company ccg who own it and other rail pubs didnt seem to like the fact it made them a mint and had a large and varied amount of regulars. the prices are disgusting. this place used to be hoaching and had some great price deals but the miopic senior management buggered it all up. only occasionally go in now out of sheer morbid curiosity or if time wastin b4 a choo choo. saddest thing to happen to a drinking shop in inverness ever. R.I.P. Bertie wooster.

since it first opened the staff seem to be consistently very good - full marks to kit for that. but dont drink there very often now as u need a bank loan for the prices which is a shame. doesnt seem to keep the punters away though.

drinkin shop by day - more flash at night. some door staff bordering nethanderal. staff generally good specially val and fiona. top gals !!!! bogs - slight improvement gotta be said but place needs ripped aprt and redone if truth be told.

been drinking downstairs for several years now, yea some folk u spk to think its a dive and full of ne`er do wells but thats shite.most friendly bar i been in, bit rough on the outside but scratch the surface and what a wealth of humanity in all shapes and forms. poorest pensioner to well off professionals who like "spit n sawdust" all walks of life (some living on certain regulars granted!!) but generally fine. upstairs lot all laid back young n old alike and again all colours of the rainbow (some literally) one moan though - upstairs drinkers please TAKE YER F***IN EMPTY GLASSES BACK UPSTAIRS AND JUST ONCE IN A WHILE TAKE SOME OF THE SUPPLIES OF DRINK FROM THE CELLAR UPSTAIRS YERSELFS INSTEAD OF THE `DOONIES` DOIN IT FOR U. rant over ;-)
p.s upstairs are gonna be gettin humped in the next quiz.
