Bakoo
Tel: 01463 235506

39 High Street,
Inverness
Currently closed. Bakoo has had it's licence to serve alcohol revoked until October 2010, following several breaches of it's premises licence.
The nightclub most likely to have "star" appearances from some bloke/tart from Hollyoaks.
Plays nowt but chart/rnb and "commercial" dance music so your hardcore credible clubber types despise it with a vengence.
On a typical weekend the highest entertainment you'll get here is the chance to laugh at Caley Thistle/Ross County players acting like wideboys or being glassed in the face by an underage ned in a stripey jumper because you "looked at him funny, like".

Lost the plot completely, only seems to be open Fri & Sat and is all about the Dance scene now, not very busy but that might be the appeal for some to get away from the commercial sounds of Love2Love.
is this place still open?
heard it had shut, or is going to shut
thank god
Oh dear, natural selection has kicked in and since Love opened it has crashed and burned. Has great potential if refurbed and loving DJ Zanders tunes on a Saturday. Please don't let it dissapear we need choice in Inverness. PS got a bit tired of all the "celeb" appearances, just detracts from the dancing.
laughable how bad this place is!
i think jay21 might just be staff ha ha, its so bad it has to be witnessed how bad it is!
if u r over 18 - u r too old for this place!!
i find bakoo the safest club in inverness as there seems to be alot of hassle when i am in the other clubs and appears to be the cheapest entry i love the music and i always have a brill time when i visit.
Far too expensive to get in!! better off just stayin in Jacks!!

In response to The Thinking Man's Drunk, if more people knew about this site, then we would have an honest opinion as the 'common' man votes.
And I would judge myself as a fair and objective person. I still don't like the place, but hey - it's the best that oor 'Sneckie has got.
Sticky...
Oh not one of those "one person's music taste is just as valid as anothers" arguments. We all know thats pants, Bakoo is only bearable when you're too drunk to know any better.
Well done on the new site a great idea and long over due! I do however hope that it is used as a forum for honest reviews of all night life in the city and not just as an agenda for those with a taste for certain music and venue to put down those with another. I mention this after reading some suspect review's already! While not being a fan of Bakoo myself I must question the reasoning behind such a low score of such a popular venue? Even if it is a cheese fest, numbers through the door do not lie this place has the man u fan base of inverness night life! If this site is to gain any credible standing then there really must be a more diverse pannel of judges to take in to consideration all flavour's of nights out.
